About Mr. Liêm
The Vietnam Kun Khmer Federation is the official body that manages the sport in Vietnam, certifies its fighters and runs its international Kun Khmer exchanges. Hồ Thanh Liêm leads that work. In February 2026 he was elected Vice President of the Kun Khmer International Federation (KIF) for the 2026–2030 term, with a seat on its Standing Committee, and he is KIF's representative in Vietnam.
He is also head coach of the Cần Thơ kickboxing team. At the 6th World Kun Khmer Championship in Cambodia in February 2026, his 12 Cần Thơ athletes, called up to the national team, came home with 12 medals, including golds for Phùng Phú Thuận and Phùng Thị Hồng Thắm, as Vietnam finished first overall. In March he spoke at the signing that set Kun Khmer in Vietnam on the road to professional status, and in September his city hosted the first Asian Kun Khmer Championship. His page, Kun Khmer Vietnam & Martial Arts TV, carries the sport to fans across the country.
“This will be an ideal arena for athletes to compete and learn from strong international opponents.”

The Showcase
Muay Thai × Kun Khmer International Showcase
In 2026 Vietnam finished first overall at both the World Kun Khmer Championships in Cambodia and the IFMA World Muay Thai Championships. Home to world champions in both arts, Vietnam is the natural neutral ground to bring them together: two great traditions on one card, each under its own name, under one neutral ruleset. Three nations. One ring.
